Director of Finance

Connectly Recruiting is partnering with a well-established, rapidly growing organization to identify a Director of Finance for a newly created leadership opportunity.

• Lead the organization's financial reporting function, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial information for executive leadership, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including Board of Directors materials, executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and business performance analyses.
• Oversee the monthly close process, consolidations, and technical accounting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
• Partner with executive leadership and operational teams to provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support that drives business performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and optimize ERP systems and financial reporting capabilities.
• Support treasury, banking relationships, audit activities, and other corporate finance initiatives as needed.
• Participate in strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives that support the organization's continued growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

• Experience in financial reporting, corporate accounting, consolidations, budgeting/forecasting, and financial analysis

• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to partner across operations and executive leadership

• ERP implementation, optimization, or process improvement experience is highly desirable

• Experience within construction, engineering, industrial services, manufacturing, infrastructure, or other project-based organizations is strongly preferred

• Candidates currently serving as a Controller, Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, Director of Financial Reporting, or Director of Finance are encouraged to apply

Location: Greater Baton Rouge area (primarily onsite)
