About the Role We are a rapidly growing Local 363 USWU shop based in Staten Island looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our close-knit team. Key Responsibilities

• Bid Preparation: Analyze project requirements and specifications detailed in bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Data Analysis: Conduct research to determine accurate labor costs, material pricing, and production timelines.
• Vendor Management: Obtain and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors; build long-term relationships with key supply houses.
• Proposal Development: Assemble final estimates and submit professional proposals to clients.
• Client Relations: Foster client relationships to promote our services and gather feedback on submitted bids.
• Project Kickoff: Provide expert consultation during kickoff meetings to assist in the planning and coordination of new projects.
• Strategic Planning: Review the bid board directly with ownership to discuss bidding strategies and prioritize new requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record as an Electrical Estimator.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in EBM Vision or comparable estimating software (e.g., Accubid).
• Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge of estimation formulas and data analysis methods.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
