Regional Property Manager - Multifamily
We’re recruiting on behalf of a privately held multifamily ownership group with apartment communities throughout Austintown and nearby Northeast Ohio markets. This Regional Property Manager role is based in Austintown, OH and provides direct oversight of several nearby properties, with a strong focus on on-site leadership, resident experience, and financial performance.
This opportunity is ideal for a proven property management leader who enjoys being in the field, coaching teams, driving occupancy, and protecting asset value.
What You’ll Own
• Oversee day-to-day operations across several apartment communities
• Drive leasing performance, resident retention, and economic occupancy
• Partner closely with onsite Property Managers and Maintenance leaders
• Ensure communities are market-ready, well-maintained, and resident-focused
• Monitor budgets, expenses, rent performance, and loss-to-lease
• Review weekly operational, leasing, and financial reporting
• Support marketing efforts and local outreach to maintain strong demand
• Handle escalated resident issues and model exceptional customer service
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and coaching
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and applicable regulations
What You’ll Bring
• Background leading residential apartment communities
• Track record managing occupancy, budgets, and on-site teams
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant regulations
• Comfort using property management systems (Yardi experience a plus)
• Ability to balance field presence with reporting and oversight
• Flexibility for occasional Saturday coverage when needed
