We are seeking a highly organized, service-oriented Benefits & Leave Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping employees navigate important moments in their careers and lives while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience.

What You’ll Do
As the Benefits & Leave Administrator, you will play a key role in the administration of employee benefits and leave programs while serving as a trusted point of contact for employees and leadership.
Key responsibilities include:

Administering the firm’s employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness offerings

Managing leave administration processes including FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, personal leave, and other applicable leave programs

Serving as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, eligibility, enrollments, claims, and leave requests

Coordinating benefits onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees

Assisting with open enrollment planning, communications, employee education, and vendor coordination and bill reconciliation

Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring HRIS data integrity related to benefits and leave administration

Partnering with payroll, HR leadership, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing

Supporting compliance efforts related to federal, state, and local employment laws and benefits regulations

Preparing reports, audits, and documentation related to benefits and leave administration

Helping to create a positive and responsive employee experience through professionalism, discretion, and strong communication
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, compassionate, and able to balance compliance with a high-touch employee service approach.
Qualifications include:

Experience in benefits administration, leave administration, HR operations, or a related human resources function

Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable benefits and leave regulations

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Experience working within an HRIS system and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, professional services environment

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, etc.) is a plus
