ANESTHESIOLOGIST

Join our dynamic team as a full-time Physician Anesthesiologist in Moultrie, Georgia. We are in search of a dedicated professional who is either Board Certified or Board Eligible, with a notable background in Critical Care. This role promises collaboration with a skilled team, including Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs), ensuring high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of Anesthesiology residency
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years)
• Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services, overseeing CRNAs and AAs.
• Participate in a structured schedule: 26 weeks on/26 weeks off, typically following a 7 on/7 off shift pattern.
• Be available for call duties during active weeks, offering critical care support.
• Engage in teaching opportunities by precepting medical students and residents.

Facilities and Technology:

• Access to a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center with simulation rooms and a conference center.
• Utilize cutting-edge anesthesia equipment, including the latest Mindray machines and ultrasounds.
• Work in 7 operating room suites and 2 endoscopy suites, with modern emergency and rapid infusion technology.
• Consult in a 10-bed ICU, partnering with pulmonology and critical care physicians for daily rounds.
