Litigation Paralegal
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys within their litigation group in the Dallas office. The team specializes in commercial litigation and financial services litigation matters. - Coordinate depositions and assist with summarizing depositions, medical records, and testimony using litigation support technology
- Draft pleadings and filings for federal and state civil litigation, including e-filing
- Support trial preparation — exhibits, demonstrative aids, witness coordination — and assist at trial
- Verify case citations for accuracy and current validity through Westlaw
- Maintain attorney calendars and case deadlines
- Interact directly with clients, court personnel, and government officials
What You Bring
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. 4- year college degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate is preferred
- 4 years experience working with complex litigation is required.
- Trial prep experience strongly preferred
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and document management systems
- Experience with litigation support software and electronic discovery tools preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and sharp proofreading ability
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Experience Level
Our client is open to candidates at different stages of their career — both experienced paralegals who can step in with minimal ramp-up, and less experienced candidates who are highly motivated, coachable, and eager to grow. What matters most is adaptability, organization, and willingness to learn; not every skill needs to be in place on day one.
