IT Technician

We are currently recruiting for an IT Technical Support position to provide technical support to our client in the Baton Rouge area. While the position will initially be through our company, the individual in this role will be supporting state agencies and with strong performance, may have access to job opportunities within the state of Louisiana, longer term.

This is a full-time position that will support operations during standard working hours. (Monday through Friday, 7 am - 4 pm CT).

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Loading/unloading, and driving a box truck to make deliveries of computer equipment to employees at state agencies daily. Setting up equipment for users.
• Deploying Windows 10 software on to desktops and laptops.
• Assessing and documenting inventory of equipment.

Experience we’re looking for

1+ years of professional experience; general experience or educational knowledge in an IT related background is a plus!

Familiarity with basic PC hardware and associated devices

• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable and willing to safely drive a box truck to make computer deliveries to state agencies.

This is a full time position, Monday-Friday 7 am-4 pm.

Hourly rate: $16-17.50/hour
