Vice President - Finance

The Vice President of Finance will oversee key corporate finance functions, including financial reporting, treasury, lender compliance, cash flow management, and executive reporting, while serving as a trusted business partner to executive leadership. What You'll Do
- Lead the organization's financial reporting, treasury, banking relationships, lender compliance, and corporate finance activities.
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Prepare and oversee executive leadership, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and meaningful financial information.
- Partner closely with executive leadership on financial strategy, liquidity planning, capital structure, financing initiatives, enterprise risk management, and operational decision-making.
- Lead cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, debt compliance, covenant reporting, and related financial analyses.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, lenders, auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Support mergers and acquisitions, financing initiatives, and other strategic corporate projects.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance financial reporting capabilities across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance and accounting team.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation strongly preferred; CMA designation or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, treasury, audit, banking compliance, or corporate finance. Demonstrated job stability and strong career progression.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and U.S. GAAP.
- Strong experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing balance sheet rollforwards, cash flow statements, debt schedules, bank reporting packages, compliance certificates, and financial presentation materials.
- Experience with debt covenant calculations, lender reporting, cash flow reporting, credit agreements, treasury administration, and banking relationship support.
- Demonstrated ability to lead recurring finance processes, manage deadlines, review detailed financial information, and communicate issues clearly to senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical, technical research, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with professionals at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within construction, engineering, industrial services, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy services, or other project-based organizations.
- Experience with private equity-backed companies, multi-entity organizations, lender reporting, or leveraged environments.
- Experience managing and developing accounting and finance professionals.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, treasury platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience preparing executive, Board, lender, audit, or investor reporting.
- Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to build scalable finance processes.
- Current or recent experience in roles such as Vice President of Finance, Director of Finance, Director of Financial Reporting.
