§ Salary: $310,000 to $435,000 Base Salary (In addition to eligibility for discretionary performance incentives)
§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed target.

§ Duties:
The Associate will serve as a principal legal advisor for complex reorganizations, demanding technical precision in both judicial proceedings and private out-of-court negotiations.
Primary responsibilities include:
⨖ Navigating Sophisticated Reorganizations by managing Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court workouts, and complex cross-border insolvency matters.
⨖ Executing Asset Dispositions by leading Section 363 sales and plan sponsorship strategies for both company-side and buy-side mandates.
⨖ Architecting Liability Management through the execution of strategic balance sheet enhancements and exchange offers.
⨖ Providing Strategic Representation to a diverse client base, including corporate debtors, lending institutions, and creditor committees.
⨖ Advocating for Community Needs via an extensive pro bono program that grants full billable credit for time dedicated to social and legal advocacy.
§ Qualifications:
Requisite criteria for this role include:
⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a top-tier, ABA-accredited law school with a record of superior academic achievement.
⨖ Active Bar Membership in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to waive in promptly).
⨖ Three (3) to Six (6) years of substantive restructuring experience within a major international peer firm.
⨖ Demonstrated proficiency in the technical nuances of liability management transactions and general creditor representations.
⨖ Advanced drafting and negotiation capabilities required for the independent management of multifaceted corporate mandates.
