Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, to enhance patient recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical regulations.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices
- A devout love for working with geriatric and post-acute populations
Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA) Required
