About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Revenue to lead, unify, and scale their Revenue engine. You will eliminate traditional silos by unifying Sales, Marketing, and Business Development under a single strategic vision, while partnering closely with Customer Success to drive industry-leading retention. This is a pivotal executive leadership role for a builder who thrives at the intersection of pipeline generation, brand strategy, and revenue execution.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Revenue will own the full revenue engine — from top-of-funnel demand generation and brand positioning through pipeline conversion and deal closure. You will unify sales and marketing under a single strategic vision, ensuring both functions operate as one connected revenue team rather than separate silos.

The customers are independent auto repair shop owners who rely on our client's All-In-One Success Platform to run and grow their businesses. The ideal candidate combines the discipline of a sales leader with the strategic instincts of a marketing executive, and understands how to translate that combination into predictable, scalable revenue growth.

What You'll Do

Revenue Strategy & Leadership

  • Craft and execute a unified go-to-market strategy that aligns sales and marketing around shared revenue goals, accelerating growth and expanding market share.
  • Own the full revenue funnel — from brand awareness and lead generation through pipeline development, and sales conversion.
  • Partner with the CEO and key executive team members to set annual/quarterly revenue strategies, pricing models, positioning, and accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to the CEO on market trends, competitive positioning, and revenue forecasting.

Sales Leadership

  • Provide inspirational leadership and direction to the sales team, optimizing performance and building a competitive, results-driven culture.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from initial prospecting through final contract closure.
  • Drive team accountability and professional growth through our client's performance management, coaching, and feedback processes.
  • Leverage sales analytics and CRM data to diagnose bottlenecks, shorten sales cycles, refine processes and playbooks as well as uncover growth opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and complex deal strategy for key accounts and strategic partnerships.

Marketing Leadership

  • Direct the marketing function's strategy, including demand generation, brand development, content, digital marketing, and customer marketing.
  • Direct marketing programs across digital marketing, content, and customer marketing to ensure a steady stream of high-quality, sales-ready leads and align tightly with sales capacity and targets.
  • Lead, support, and direct the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, ensuring alignment between marketing spend and sales capacity.
  • Champion the customer and market voice — using research, feedback, and competitive intelligence to shape product positioning and messaging.
  • Oversee sales enablement content, tools, and technology (e.g., collateral, playbooks, campaigns) that increase sales team productivity and shorten sales cycles.
  • Own brand presence and visibility, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging of our client's All-In-One Success Platform across every channel.

Cross-Functional & Organizational Impact

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, training, product, and customer success teams to align recruiting, onboarding, and retention with broader revenue goals.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales and marketing organization, including hiring key leadership roles as the team grows.
  • Establish clear board-ready KPIs and reporting cadences providing total visibility into pipeline health, CAC payback, marketing ROI, and sales performance.
  • Represent our client at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to build the company's profile and strategic relationships.
  • Forge industry partnerships, channels, and alliances that open new markets and revenue streams.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, automotive aftermarket trends, and SaaS industry shifts that could impact revenue strategy.

What You Bring

  • SaaS Leadership: 8+ years of scaling sales organizations in a B2B SaaS environment, with at least 3+ years managing or tightly partnering with marketing and BDR functions.
  • Industry Domain: Experience in SMB SaaS and, ideally, the automotive aftermarket or repair shop industry.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success building and scaling both sales and marketing teams/functions, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Science: Proven experience building a structured, scientific, and repeatable revenue engine. You treat pipeline generation and conversion as a data problem, using testing, cohort analysis, and rigorous data tracking to drive predictable outcomes.
  • Funnel Mastery: Deep quantitative understanding of SaaS metrics, demand generation loops, marketing automation, and how marketing spend translates to closed-won revenue.
  • Systems & Data Infrastructure: Deep commitment to Revenue Operations (RevOps) principles. You believe clean data is the foundation of scale, and you have a track record of auditing and designing CRM, marketing automation, and sales enablement tech stacks to ensure truth in reporting.
  • Expertise: Expert knowledge of sales methodology, contract negotiation, and market analysis.
  • Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to build and defend revenue forecasts and budgets.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Data Fluency: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; expert level comfort with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to drive predictable forecasting and performance.
  • Leadership Style: A collaborative leadership style that unites sales and marketing teams around shared goals rather than competing priorities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA a plus.
