Regional Sales Manager, Automotive

Location: Midwest USA (Ideal candidates based in or near Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; and surrounding Midwest markets)
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director, Aftermarket

Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives and expand market presence across the Midwest United States. This individual will be responsible for developing growth strategies, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue across all product lines in alignment with corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute regional sales and marketing strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and provide monthly performance reports.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share throughout the Midwest territory.
  • Manage and grow key customer accounts while developing new sales channels.
  • Partner with project engineering, application engineering, customer support, and training teams to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Support pricing strategy development and implementation.
  • Represent the company at customer facilities, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Travel 50–60% of the time, primarily within the Midwest USA, with occasional international travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive aftermarket (or a related industry).
  • Proven track record of developing business and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently within a large geographic territory.
 

This role pays a competitive total compensation ranging from $120,000 - $140,000 per annum. Base Salary, Bonus, Profit Sharing and other compensation details will be discussed later in the recruitment process and can potentially exceed the above stated amount. The compensation is dependent on the candidate experience and educational profile and will be evaluated during the interview process.
