We are an award-winning wellness Centre (Consumer Choice Awards, BlogTo and GlobalTV). We are an established Centre operating in Toronto for over 30 years. We have become one of Canada's leaders in providing quality care and innovative wellness programs for the community. With over 30 practitioners under one roof, we provide a magnitude of different services. Some of the services include Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Athletic Therapy, Naturopathy, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Personal Training.
We are currently looking for a Chiropractor to join our downtown Toronto location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assessing a patient's physical abilities and needs
· Developing a treatment plan according to the patient's individualized needs
· Prepare medical reports and assessments
· Implementing programs including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, education, and the use of electro-therapy
· Therapeutic and other mechanical equipment and hydrotherapy
· Providing consultation or injury prevention and health promotion
· Ability to facilitate the growth of our business
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
· Experience with insurance procedures (WSIB, EHC, MVA) would be a strong asset
· Performance oriented
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
· Commitment to quality care and service delivery
· An interest in helping people with physical disabilities and injuries
· The ability to work both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, with a strong understanding of when and how to make multidisciplinary referrals
Compensation:
This role pays a competitive compensation ranging from $50- $60 per hour. There are other benefits beyond the salary mentioned above which will be discussed later in the recruitment process. The compensation is dependent on the candidate experience and educational profile and will be evaluated during the interview process.
