Electrical PCB Engineer – Analog & Mixed-Signal Systems

Up to $100,000 Base Salary • Greater Milwaukee / Northeast WI Corridor • 100% Onsite • Full Benefits

  • EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of professional experience with a relevant degree (or 10+ years of proven hands-on layout experience without a degree)
  • CORE SKILLS: Multi-layer PCB layout, circuit design, power supply development, and analog/mixed-signal circuitry
  • TRAVEL & SCHEDULE: Up to 20 days per year of domestic travel for product validation, field testing, or client installations
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: High-impact, direct-hire seat with full project autonomy from concept through factory floor release
  • REQUIREMENTS: US work authorization required; permanent residence within a daily commuting radius of the production facility

If you are an electrical engineer tired of being confined to handling just one small slice of a product line at a massive firm, this direct-hire seat offers a major upgrade in scope. The employer is a fast-growing, privately held manufacturer producing highly engineered electronic products for demanding industrial applications. With steady year-over-year revenue growth and no corporate bureaucratic layers, your contributions will be highly visible and directly tied to the company's product roadmap.

The workplace culture is built on results, high autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration. Instead of tossing designs over a wall, you will manage multiple programs, carry hardware across the full lifecycle, and collaborate directly with manufacturing teams as your boards roll off the line. Backed by business stability, an expanding product portfolio, and a comprehensive corporate benefits package (including 401k), this is an exceptional long-term home for an experienced hardware designer.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

  • Design, model, and layout multi-layer PCBs from initial concept through prototype builds, bench testing, and final production release.
  • Develop and optimize power supply designs, including robust analog and mixed-signal circuitry tailored for demanding industrial environments.
  • Create clean electrical schematics, precise engineering specifications, and complete manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Support hands-on prototype builds, initial product testing, bench debugging, and factory floor manufacturing startup activities.
  • Perform strict reliability analysis and collaborate with quality assurance teams to support formal compliance and validation testing.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and design priorities to ensure product milestones stay on schedule.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • 4+ years of verifiable experience with a degree (or 10+ years of hands-on PCB layout experience) in hardware design and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience developing power electronics, handling analog component selection, and managing mixed-signal layouts.
  • Absolute proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics, technical specifications, and production BOMs.
  • Self-directed, motivated mindset capable of driving project deliverables independently without heavy oversight.
  • Strong pluses: Experience with circuit simulation tools (PSpice), baseline firmware/embedded familiarity, or CAD software exposure (SolidWorks).
  • Proximity to the facility, with established residence within a dependable daily commuting distance of the Greater Milwaukee / Northeast WI corridor.
