Location

Houston, Texas. Initially focused on building systems and cases, with on-site leadership expected within one year as the Texas office scales.

Note

Must have an active Texas Bar license and 5+ years of personal injury experience with both pre-litigation and litigation exposure.

As they expand into Texas, they are seeking a senior attorney who can help build the operational foundation, systems, and standards that will support long-term success across the state.

Job Description

  • Help establish and lead the firm’s Texas personal injury operations
  • Design and document SOPs and end-to-end workflows for Texas PI matters
  • Build standardized forms, templates, and correspondence libraries
  • Define case-handling benchmarks, communication protocols, and escalation paths
  • Manage a limited personal injury caseload from intake through resolution
  • Conduct client interviews, oversee discovery, negotiations, and settlements
  • Serve as the primary Texas liaison to firm leadership
  • Train and mentor attorneys and staff as the Texas team grows
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to refine and improve processes

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license
  • 5+ years of personal injury experience, including litigation
  • Proven experience building or implementing SOPs or legal workflows
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to process documentation
  • Organized, systems-oriented leadership style
  • Client-focused, accountable, and collaborative professional approach
