ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – LABOR & EMPLOYMENT
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
- 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience with wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and single-plaintiff employment claims
- Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.
- FEHA, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, as well as whistleblower matters, is preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills, along with a collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality client service
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in labor and employment litigation matters
- Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings
- Participate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and preparation of discovery responses
- Conduct legal research on wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and single-plaintiff employment claims, and related statutory frameworks
- Assist with case strategy, risk assessment, and litigation planning in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Support clients across a range of industries on complex employment-related litigation matters

- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $235,000-$390,000, as determined by experience and market factors
