Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney - Employment Litigation
Pay: $175,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year

Job Description
- Handle substantive employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and substantive briefs
- Manage key litigation workstreams with increasing independence
- Conduct and defend depositions and support hearing preparation
- Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences commensurate with experience
- Advise employers and employees on employment law risks, compliance, and strategy
- Support workplace investigations and internal employment assessments as needed
- Counsel clients on discipline, termination, wage practices, policy issues, employment agreements, separation matters, and claims evaluation
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and agency representatives
- Contribute to efficient case management and overall litigation strategy on significant matters
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal court
- Strong employment litigation experience required
- Experience with discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, or related employment matters
- Demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of California employment statutes and civil procedure
- Active California Bar admission required
