Our client, an AmLaw 100 global law firm, is seeking a Public Finance Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office in a full-time, partnership-track position. This opportunity is ideal for a transactional attorney looking to build a sophisticated public finance practice within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of municipal finance matters, including special district representation, affordable housing, and economic development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing
- 2-4 years of substantive transactional experience
- Experience in public finance, real estate, securities, or other transactional practices
- Demonstrated interest in or exposure to municipal finance, special district representation, affordable housing, or economic development
- Strong analytical, drafting, and writing skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a team-based environment
- A detail-oriented approach and sound professional judgment
- Prior experience at a large law firm or sophisticated real estate practice is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a variety of public finance and municipal finance transactions
- Assist with the structuring and execution of bond financings and related transactional matters
- Draft and review transactional documents, disclosures, and supporting materials
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients throughout all phases of transactions
- Support economic development, infrastructure, and affordable housing initiatives through public finance work

- Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $235,000 – $310,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
