What You Will Be Doing
- Territory Strategy: Operating as the primary technical consult and Territory Manager across SE Minnesota, balancing 80% new business acquisition with 20% elite account maintenance.
- Consultative Engineering: Providing deep technical support and consultative engineering assessments for clients managing high/low-pressure water systems and manufacturing processes.
- Chemistry & System Design: Analyzing complex industrial water chemistry, flow requirements, and process constraints to design custom, automated water treatment solutions.
- Client Collaboration: Partnering directly with facility managers and plant engineers to map out mechanical system upgrades, fluid control designs, and chemical treatment plans.
- Lifecycle Sales Management: Managing the entire mid-market and enterprise sales cycle—from technical prospecting and capital system presentations to final contract closing and long-term retention.
- Field Engagement: Traveling daily throughout your assigned territory, logging up to 3+ hours of driving to ensure consistent, face-to-face customer engineering reviews.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture by sharing market insights and working with the internal engineering staff to optimize custom field performance.
