Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a talented Senior Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Securities Litigation & Enforcement Practice Group in Boston. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated securities litigation, shareholder disputes, regulatory investigations, and enforcement matters for public companies, financial institutions, boards of directors, and senior executives. The practice is nationally recognized for handling high-stakes securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, corporate governance disputes, and parallel regulatory proceedings in federal and state courts across the country.


Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Massachusetts, New Yorko or California in good standing
  • 4-7 years of substantive securities litigation experience
  • Extensive experience litigating securities matters in federal courts and/or the Delaware Court of Chancery
  • Experience representing public companies, boards of directors, officers, financial institutions, and other corporate clients in complex securities disputes
  • Strong background handling securities class actions, including drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and appellate briefs
  • Experience with shareholder derivative litigation, corporate governance disputes, and shareholder demand matters
  • Experience managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, witness preparation, depositions, expert coordination, and trial preparation
  • Familiarity with SEC investigations, enforcement proceedings, and related regulatory matters
  • Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and sound business judgment
  • Experience working effectively within large litigation teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and excellence
  • Large law firm experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in complex securities class actions, shareholder litigation, and related commercial disputes
  • Defend public companies, boards, officers, directors, and financial institutions in high-stakes securities litigation matters
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and appellate filings in federal and state courts
  • Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, witness preparation, deposition strategy, and expert coordination
  • Handle matters involving shareholder derivative actions, fiduciary duty claims, and corporate governance disputes
  • Assist clients responding to shareholder demands, internal investigations, and related litigation risks
  • Support clients facing SEC investigations, enforcement actions, and parallel regulatory proceedings
  • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and strategic resolution efforts
  • Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, corporate, white collar, investigations, and regulatory practice groups
  • Conduct sophisticated legal analysis involving securities laws, disclosure obligations, corporate governance, and enforcement matters
