- EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of dedicated commercial/industrial HVAC service experience (pure residential backgrounds cannot be accepted)
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Direct-hire position with a rapidly expanding, debt-free mechanical contractor featuring an under 8% turnover rate and flexible, non-micromanaged daily scheduling

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install complex commercial and industrial HVAC systems and high-capacity process equipment across assigned regional client sites.
- Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules with precision to optimize system runtime and maximize mechanical performance.
- Utilize methodical fault-tracing, electrical diagnostics, and point-to-point troubleshooting to quickly isolate system errors, motor control faults, and automated controls issues.
- Verify complete operational cycles of entire mechanical networks prior to job completion to guarantee zero callbacks and maintain elite quality standards.
- Consult directly with manufacturing clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor and securing digital service sign-offs.
- Collaborate closely with local pod dispatchers to update daily workflow tracks, coordinate weekly schedules, and report field anomalies to your supervisor.
- Foster a safe field environment while actively guiding and mentoring developing apprentices on the jobsite.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
- Valid Journeyman status with a current HVAC 1 Industrial Card and current membership—or absolute willingness to enroll—in the partnering mechanical trades union local.
- 3+ years of verifiable experience servicing high-tonnage industrial and commercial systems (pure residential experience is not applicable).
- Electrical & Controls Fluency: Strong hands-on knowledge of motor controls, complex system wiring diagnostics, and exposure to PLC/building automation interfaces.
- Physical Field Agility: Ability to safely climb industrial ladders, traverse high-elevation scaffolds, access rooftops, and navigate restricted air handler/confined spaces.
- Client-Facing Communication: Clear written logging capabilities and comfortable interpersonal skills when dealing directly with plant managers and facility directors.
- Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record suitable for operating a regional service vehicle.
