Our client is an MEP consulting engineering firm opening a new office in Austin, Texas. The firm has more work in the Austin market than it can currently staff and is actively searching for the next addition to the new office. This is the first electrical design seat in the market.

 

The firm is employee owned through an ESOP. It promotes from within and is adding this office because the workload calls for it. They are looking for a licensed electrical engineer to join the Austin team. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor before all the leadership positions are occupied.

 

The work is life science, clean room, and industrial facility design. Background in these sectors is not required. The firm trains engineers on the specifics of the environments it designs for. Hybrid schedule, three days a week in the Austin office.

 

What you will be doing:

 

Electrical design for life science, clean room, and industrial facilities across the firm's Austin work. Coordination with the local controls team. Field work and direct client contact as a regular part of the job. Shared projects with the firm's other offices.
