We are in search of a dynamic and dedicated professional to assume the role of Assistant Director of Nursing at our esteemed facility in Brooklyn, NY. This pivotal position offers an incredible opportunity for a seasoned leader to impact patient care quality and operational effectiveness within the Internal Medicine Surgery department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily nursing operations, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active New York State RN license.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity, or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
