Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer will investigate, analyze and resolve production quality problems by conducting product audits, analyzing defect trends and leading cross-functional continuous improvement activities in a timely manner. The position will develop, implement and maintain quality programs for the plant that ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

• Investigate internal quality issues on production quality, processes and equipment.
• Act as a communication liaison between internal and external groups regarding quality issues.
• Establish, maintain, and track quality standards to ensure consistency, while maintaining quality production.
• Participate in process audits to address any specific issues such as production mold modification.
• Address customer and internal product concerns.
• Analyze monthly performance reports and process data to identify areas of improvement.
• Ensure that packaging meets quality standards.
• Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of quality tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9000 and AIAG standards
