Location

This role supports both the Blue Bell and Philadelphia offices, and regular travel between the two locations is required.

Primarily on-site with some hybrid flexibility depending on the team. Fully remote is not available

Note

This role requires an active Pennsylvania bar license and 4+ years of trust and estate planning experience, including exposure to sophisticated estates and tax-driven planning matters.

Job Description

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and wealth planning strategies
  • Draft trusts, wills, and advanced estate planning documents
  • Handle trust and estate administration matters
  • Assist with tax planning, including federal estate and gift tax considerations
  • Prepare and review estate-related tax filings, including federal estate tax returns
  • Support planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance structures
  • Conduct detailed legal research and draft high-quality written work product
  • Collaborate closely with partners and other practice groups on complex planning matters

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required
  • Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • 4-6 years of trust and estate planning experience required
  • Experience with high-net-worth and sophisticated estate planning matters
  • Exposure to estate, gift, and income tax planning preferred
  • Experience with family-owned business planning and life insurance structures preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and academic credentials
  • LLM in Taxation is a plus but not required
