Production Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join the dynamic team in Olyphant, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating production planning activities, ensuring seamless coordination between inventory management and warehouse operations. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining optimal production schedules and meeting customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager in managing stock levels to accommodate seasonal demands and enhance product sales.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules on a yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and effective stock management to meet fluctuating demands.
• Communicate production plans and any necessary adjustments to management and relevant departments.
• Coordinate with the planning team to guarantee timely delivery of products to customers.
• Process customer and work orders, ensuring their completion according to internal procedures.
• Contribute to system implementation and maintenance, including conducting internal audits and providing training as needed.
• Utilize SAP and other computerized systems for efficient production planning and execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain strong working relationships.
• Monitor and improve production schedule attainment.
• Perform additional tasks as necessary, aligned with the role's objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on solution-oriented approaches.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
