Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Inside Sales Representative in Olyphant, focusing on Northeast customer base. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support while also safeguarding the company's interests. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a professional demeanor to every interaction, working hand-in-hand with the Inside Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate incoming orders against forecasts to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate with the Production Planning and Shipping Department to manage shipment and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Department to verify and maintain accurate pricing in the SAP system.
• Process and enter customer orders, ensuring accuracy in customer specifications.
• Work with Accounting to address invoice discrepancies and ensure correct billing.
• Facilitate clear communication between customers and internal departments, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Prepare and distribute inventory reports to customers, monitoring slow-moving stock and updates to designs.
• Generate and verify the accuracy of customer shipment reports.
• Assist in managing customer returns and maintaining precise order specifications for each account.
• Perform additional duties as needed that are consistent with this role.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Inside Sales or a related field, with a strong track record in building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Experience in a large consumer packaging goods company is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
