Quality Manager

Join the team in New Castle as a Quality Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence and maintaining the highest standards for our premium products. As the Quality Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with all relevant certifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the quality system for premium products, ensuring adherence to external quality certifications.
• Manage the Quality Assurance manual, ensuring it reflects the latest standards and practices.
• Conduct internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Review and authorize certified test reports, ensuring their accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance and develop quality systems.
• Lead the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance and management for personnel involved with premium products.
• Serve as the Management Representative responsible for:
• Ensuring the QMS aligns with all applicable requirements.
• Monitoring processes to achieve intended results.
• Reporting QMS performance to senior management.
• Promoting a customer-focused approach.
• Maintaining the integrity of the QMS.
• Travel locally, nationally, and internationally as needed.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field.
• At least five years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in the metals manufacturing industry with remelted products.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to engage with staff at all organizational levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An active and valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel as required.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and uphold safety standards.
