Our client, a unique industry leader in North America and Europe, specializes in supporting hospital pharmacy organization and workflow efficiency through modular shelving, workstations, transport carts, and medication exchange trays. Developed by pharmacists for pharmacists, their innovative solutions are designed to reduce storage space and streamline operational processes, with design options limited only by the client’s imagination. They are currently seeking driven, focused, and skilled candidates for the position of Sales Representative to join their Sales and Marketing Team. This is a full-time, exempt position based out of Pittsburgh, PA, with 40-50% travel required.

Successful candidates will work full-time out of their Pittsburgh facility, located west of the Golden Triangle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Coordinator to develop, support, and execute the North American sales plan.
  • Manage key accounts, generate leads, and leverage Subject Matter Experts in support of sales strategies.
  • Attend trade shows and facilitate activities aligned with the company's sales goals.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the full product line offered by our client.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist to create sales strategies and identify new sales channels to drive growth.
  • Identify and convert prospective sales leads into long-term clients.
  • Communicate with both new and existing customers to assess their needs and demonstrate how the company's products provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Austrian counterparts and the Pittsburgh team to support business development efforts.
  • Manage and generate sales analytics reports, and provide sales forecasting as required.
  • Participate in the development of marketing collateral and contribute to joint strategy meetings with international colleagues.
  • Lead and analyze trade show data and follow up with potential clients.
  • Oversee trade show logistics, including booth design, setup, and tear down.
  • Provide valuable input on social media content, case studies, and white papers.
  • Manage expenses and adhere to company guidelines.
  • Actively contribute to strategic planning with senior leadership, while fostering strong internal and external relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales with a successful track record (3-5 years).
  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree required, or equivalent experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a background in marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate group activities and achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel extensively (40-50%).

Preferred Skills:

  • International business experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a dynamic and engaging personality.
  • Prior sales experience in the medical or healthcare field is strongly preferred.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and collaborative experience are essential.
