Junior-Level Environmental Associate Attorney

Location: Houston, Texas

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join their Environmental Practice Group in their Houston office.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Texas required (or the ability to waive in).
  • 2–4 years of substantive hands-on environmental law experience.
  • Strong academic credentials and superior writing and research skills.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive, initiative, and ability to work independently while inspiring confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support across a range of transactional, commercial, regulatory, enforcement, and remediation matters.
  • Negotiate, draft, and implement agreements.
  • Handle the negotiation and resolution of pre-litigation claims.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys while maintaining independence in managing assignments.
