Job Description
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting by building and maintaining data-driven financial models
- Prepare financial reports on event profitability, operational expenses, and cash flow projections for the executive team
- Track actual versus projected costs for live productions and identify key variances and cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct profitability analysis by event, client, and venue to inform pricing and strategic decisions
- Analyze rental versus purchase decisions for production equipment and advise on ROI and asset optimization
- Monitor equipment utilization, depreciation, and maintenance costs to improve resource allocation and returns
- Track and report key KPIs such as cost per event, revenue per equipment type, and labor efficiency
- Assist with cash flow management, financing needs, and other strategic initiatives under the CFO’s direction
- Support M&A work, including financial due diligence, valuation modeling, projections, and integration support
- Collaborate closely with operations, production, and leadership to turn data into clear, actionable insights
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis (corporate, operations, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex modeling, data manipulation, and presentation
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Background in asset-heavy, capital-intensive, or equipment-heavy industries is a strong plus
- M&A or deal analysis experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working on-site, communicating with executives, and presenting data-driven recommendations
- Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
