Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HACCP Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the facility’s food safety programs. This role ensures full compliance with FSIS regulations and supports production, quality, and sanitation teams to maintain the highest standards of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage HACCP plans and food safety procedures in accordance with FSIS requirements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with FSIS.

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP plans, prerequisite programs, and BRC standards.

  • Interpret microbiological results and COAs.

  • Train employees on HACCP principles and food safety protocols.

  • Analyze HACCP data, identify trends, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

  • Stay current with FSIS regulations and food safety best practices.

  • Manage internal and external audits (BRC, regulatory, vendor, customer).

  • Maintain all company food safety and quality policies.

  • Work in plant and office environments, including hot/cold and loud areas.

  • Supervise 3–4 Quality Control Technicians; provide occasional 2nd-shift and pre-op inspection support.

  • Cover QC duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • HACCP and food safety certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of BRC/GFSI requirements and internal auditing desired.

  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Experience delivering training.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of FSIS labeling and export programs preferred.
