SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER

A Global leader in the ingredients and chemical manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Manager to lead site-wide health, safety, and environmental efforts at our chemical manufacturing facility. You’ll manage a team and drive compliance, culture, and continuous improvement—while leading the development and expansion of a modernized EHS and PSM (Process Safety Management) program for a high growth company looking to expand facilities a construct a new plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all site HSE activities and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
• Manage and coach a team of  Safety Specialist and Environmental members and develop an expanded and modern PSM program that aligns with the operational goals and the expansion of facilities and employees.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning
• Maintain ISO 14001/45001 standards and audit readiness
• Engage with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of HSE experience in chemical or process industries
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong background in PSM development and implementation
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HAZCOM, and related standards

• Certified Safety Professional CSP
• Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM)
