Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales within the Southern and Midwest Regions of the US. This role demands a strong business development sales and strategic thinker with a track record of achieving sales targets.
The role focuses on winning new blue-chip customers (3PL, FMCG, retail, manufacturing) by selling innovative, Reusable Transport Packaging and Container solutions. It reports to the VP of Sales, is field-based (30–40% travel), and no relocation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets to key prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong account management relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Investigate, probe, and provide quotations to new customers and engage prospects.
- Drive sales and business development by identifying, penetrating, presenting solutions and aquiring new blue chip clients.
- Work together with the sales, support and the manufacturing team to achieve sales targets and customer satifaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, OR related field experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with transport packaging such as pallets, containers, or other material handling solutions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth while having strong job stability.
- Ability to work independently in a remote office setting and travleing as needed 20%-40%
- Current residence in a Midwest or Southern State (IN, IL, WI, MI, MN, IA, SD, MO, KS, OK, TX, TN, KY, MS, AL, LA, AR) - others considered
