Plant Engineer
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Plant Engineer to support our liquid chemical manufacturing facility. This position works closely with Maintenance and Operations to troubleshoot equipment issues, improve plant reliability, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Engineer will also manage small capital projects to improve production equipment and plant performance.
Responsibilities

Partner with Maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
•
Support pumps, piping, valves, tanks, instrumentation, and other process equipment.
•
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
•
Lead small capital projects from planning through startup.
•
Perform root cause analysis and develop permanent solutions to recurring problems.
•
Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
•
Provide technical support for the ABB DeltaV control system, including troubleshooting automation issues. Programming is not required.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
•
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in a chemical or liquid processing environment.
•
Experience with pumps, piping systems, valves, and process equipment.
•
Working knowledge of ABB DeltaV or similar DCS systems with the ability to troubleshoot automation issues.
•
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
•
Experience leading continuous improvement and capital projects.
