PROCESS ENGINEER

Our Client is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead complex process engineering projects from concept through startup and optimization. This role  works directly with clients to deliver innovative process solutions in the biofuels and biochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering projects through design, execution, startup, and closeout.
• Develop and review key engineering deliverables including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, layouts, and cost estimates.
• Support process modeling, plant trials, R&D initiatives, and process optimization efforts.
• Lead HAZOP/PHA reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and provide technical mentorship.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 4-15 years of process engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in process design, equipment sizing, mass & energy balances, and plant operations.
• FE/PE certification preferred.
• Experience managing projects in process oriented chemicals Biofuels, Renewable Energy, Biochemicals, Process Technology
