  • High-end retail tenant improvements and restaurant buildout project experience
  • Procore and scheduling software (Outbuild preferred) proficiency
 
We are looking for a Construction Superintendent with a varied and broad skill set to join our client company. Our client partners with a diverse range of clients in areas including retail, restaurants and hospitality and manages a full range of services throughout the construction process. 
 
Construction Superintendent duties include:
  • Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants; ensure proper staffing and productivity.
  • Manage daily jobsite activities, scheduling, sequencing, and progress tracking.
  • Enforce compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, permits, and local building codes.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues, conflicts, and deficiencies.
  • Coordinate inspections, RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries with the project team.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and jobsite records.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times.
Construction Superintendent candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience

  • Thorough knowledge of trades and have familiarity with computers and mobile devices.
  • Experience in high-end retail tenant improvements and restaurant buildout projects is required.

  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and cost control.

  • Experience with construction software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) as well as experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-facing presence.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage fast-paced projects.

  • Detail-oriented, solutions-driven leader with strong time management skills.
