Restaurant Assistant General Manager responsibilities include:

Partner closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations

Share full accountability for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting

Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop a high-performing team

Cultivate a fun, casual, and engaging work environment while consistently delivering exceptional guest service

Lead by example—building strong relationships with team members and guests, maintaining store cleanliness, and jumping in wherever needed

Actively represent the restaurant through community involvement and local engagement

A minimum of 1–2 years of management experience in quick-service or full-service restaurant environments

Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams

Strong working knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, and cost controls

Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, timely decisions

Experience measuring employee performance and driving accountability through feedback and development

Comfortable creating, executing, and adjusting business plans to support operational and financial goals
