Restaurant Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth, efficient service and positive guest experience.
· Recruit, train, and develop a strong team of high-performing staff members.
· Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example in all aspects of restaurant operations.
· Maintain a professional presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Organize, motivate, and inspire team members to work toward common operational goals.
· Maintain a strong understanding of food preparation, quality standards, and kitchen operations.
· Assist in monitoring restaurant financial performance, including labor, food cost, and operational efficiency.
Restaurant Assistant Manager candidates must possess:
· Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience (fast food experience not considered)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to effectively lead both Back-of-House (BOH) and Front-of-House (FOH) teams
· Demonstrated job stability and strong tenure in previous roles
· Consistent and reliable attendance
· High level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
