Our client is an established commercial landscaping company serving the Northeast Florida market. The company is entering its next stage of growth under new leadership and continued investment in its Commercial Maintenance Services Division.

With the division continuing to expand, they are seeking a Business Developer who knows how to create opportunities, build relationships and close new business.

The Role

This is a true new business development position, not an account management role. The primary focus is growing revenue through prospecting, networking, relationship development and consultative selling.

The Business Developer will work closely with operations and company leadership to identify opportunities, conduct site walks, develop customer-focused proposals and manage the sales process through close.

What We're Looking For

• Proven success generating and closing new business
• Commercial landscape maintenance experience preferred
• Hunter mentality with the ability to build business from the ground up
• Knowledge of the Northeast Florida/Jacksonville commercial market
• Experience selling to property managers, boards, executives and other decision makers
• Ability to build relationships while maintaining a consistent prospecting strategy
• Comfortable understanding pricing, developing proposals and presenting solutions
• Organized and able to manage sales activity and pipeline through a CRM

This is primarily a field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys being in the market developing relationships rather than sitting behind a desk.
