PMC Medical is recruiting for an experienced Child & Pediatric Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic clinical team serving children, adolescents, teens, and families in the Flint, Michigan community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys working with children and families and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health and healthcare professionals.
Position Overview
The Clinical Psychologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals from birth through age 21. The psychologist will work primarily in a clinic-based setting and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that may include:Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Physicians, Speech-Language Pathologists and other clinical and support professionals
The position also includes clinical supervision responsibilities for Michigan Limited Licensed Psychologists and other licensed professionals involved in assessment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults
- Assess cognitive, developmental, behavioral, and psychological needs
- Administer and interpret a variety of psychological and developmental assessment instruments
- Evaluate children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental or behavioral concerns
- Develop and communicate diagnostic impressions and recommendations
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide clinical supervision to appropriate licensed or limited-licensed professionals
- Participate in treatment planning and coordination with other clinical disciplines
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- Michigan Fully Licensed Psychologist (LP) credential
- Candidates currently holding a Michigan Limited Licensed Psychologist-Doctoral credential may be considered if eligible for full Michigan licensure
- Candidates with a limited license must obtain full Michigan licensure within one year of hire
- At least 2 years of clinical experience working with children as a psychologist
- Must meet applicable Michigan Department of Community Health qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional
Compensation & Benefits
- $110,000 – $157,000 annual salary
