About the Opportunity

A national healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support an onsite occupational health clinic in Bloomington, IL. This role provides direct patient care to employees at a large local workplace while supporting providers in delivering high-quality occupational and primary health services.

The RN will treat a variety of acute and occupational health concerns, assist with injury management, and coordinate care plans that support safe and timely return-to-work outcomes.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday – Friday

  • First shift (daytime hours)

  • $40–$45/hour, depending on experience

  • Stable full-time schedule with no nights or weekends


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in an occupational health clinic setting

  • Evaluate and treat a variety of minor illnesses, injuries, and workplace-related conditions

  • Perform patient intake including medical history, vitals, and reason for visit

  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures

  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed

  • Assist with workplace injury care and workers’ compensation documentation and reporting

  • Monitor patients for treatment responses and report any changes in condition

  • Educate patients on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

  • Coordinate referrals, tests, and treatment plans with providers

  • Support return-to-work evaluations and modified duty planning

  • Assist with clinic operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and supply management

  • Perform clinical tasks such as:

    • Phlebotomy and specimen collection

    • Lab testing support

    • Assisting with physical exams and minor procedures


Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois and BLS Certification

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic environment

  • Strong documentation and patient communication skills

  • Knowledge of clinical safety standards and patient confidentiality regulations
