Job Title: Physical Therapist (Part-Time – Hemophilia Clinic)

Schedule: 4 hours per month – Third Thursday of each month (Morning)

Position Summary
A hospital-based Hemophilia Clinic in Flint, Michigan is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide specialized musculoskeletal assessment and treatment for patients with bleeding disorders. This is a consistent, low-hour commitment role ideal for a PT looking to supplement their current schedule with meaningful specialty work.
The Physical Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary hemophilia care team to support patient mobility, joint health, injury prevention, and rehabilitation related to hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations for patients with hemophilia and related bleeding disorders

Assess joint health, range of motion, strength, gait, and functional mobility

Develop individualized treatment and home exercise programs

Provide education on joint protection, injury prevention, and safe activity participation

Document patient findings and treatment plans in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards

Collaborate with hematologists, nurses, and social workers as part of the multidisciplinary care team

Provide recommendations for orthotics, assistive devices, or community resources as needed
Schedule Commitment

Qualifications
Required:

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)

Experience in orthopedic or outpatient rehabilitation settings

Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Preferred:

Experience working with hemophilia or bleeding disorders
