Part-Time Physical Therapist (DPT)

Location: South Pittsburg, TN (In-Person)

Schedule: Permanent Part-Time | 2 Days/Week | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CT)

Compensation: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Position Overview

PMC Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) for a permanent, consistent part-time opportunity in South Pittsburg, TN. This role is designed for a clinician looking to supplement their income while delivering impactful, patient-centered occupational health and rehabilitation services focused on functional return-to-work outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Clinical Evaluation & Care: Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic musculoskeletal or occupational injuries.
• Outcome-Driven Rehab: Design and execute individualized treatment plans utilizing strong manual therapy techniques and functional, movement-based exercise.
• Return-to-Work Focus: Manage the full care lifecycle, prioritizing measurable functional improvements, return-to-activity goals, and comprehensive electronic documentation.
• Specialized Testing: Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) or demonstrate a willingness to obtain FCE certification upon hire.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with healthcare providers, employers, and case managers to streamline worker recovery and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Tennessee.
• Clinical Skillset: Demonstrated expertise in hands-on manual therapy and functional exercise integration.
• FCE Competency: Prior experience conducting Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) or immediate willingness to achieve certification.

Preferred Experience

• Background in occupational health, industrial rehabilitation, or employee wellness environments.
• Familiarity navigating workers' compensation compliance and return-to-work protocols.
