Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join one of many of our clients across Michigan.  As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and diagnostic procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and specialty clinics. We have direct hire and contract opportunities available. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures.

  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, including patient history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic data interpretation.

  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.

  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during procedures.

  • Manage patients' airway and respiratory status throughout the perioperative period.

  • Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery support.

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records.

  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practices in anesthesia care.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.

  • Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA (new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered).

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

  • Strong clinical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Willingness to travel and work across multiple locations in Michigan.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a variety of anesthesia settings (e.g., general surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, trauma).

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
