CNC Mill Programmer

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3–5 Axis Mill Programmer/Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with machine setup and operation, while also collaborating with engineering to prototype new designs and continuously improve machining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Program, set up, and operate 3–5 axis CNC milling machines on a daily basis.

· Work directly with engineering to prototype new designs and refine manufacturability.

· Troubleshoot machining processes, improve setups, and ensure quality production.

· Perform tool selection, offsets, and adjustments as needed.

· Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure adherence to specifications.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a CNC mill programmer/machinist (3–5 axis).

· Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or equivalent).

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

· Skilled in precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.).

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

· Experience with prototyping and process improvement.

· Background in high-precision machining for aerospace, defense, medical, or related industries.
