Quality Control Inspector

The QC Inspector is responsible for performing and recording inspection data on products produced at our facility. They will ensure proper disposition of any products inspected. They will operate within company procedures and applicable regulations. The best Quality Control Inspectors are meticulous, detail oriented and have exceptional decision-making skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Perform mechanical, visual, and document Inspection of products at various stages

· Complete required documentation in accordance with company procedures

· Identify, document and quarantine potentially Non-Conforming products

· Compile data on inspection findings as needed

The Candidate will have:

· A High School Diploma or GED

· Basic math skills

· Good written and verbal skills (English required)

· Strong attention to detail and record keeping skills

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

· Physical ability to safely lift objects up to 50lbs and stand/walk for more than 5 hours per day

A preferred Candidate may have:

· Working knowledge of various inspection equipment including Calipers, micrometers, drop indicators etc.

· Understanding of GD&T tolerancing

· Previous experience in an ISO/FDA regulated facility

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· 1+ years of experience of Medical Device Quality Control
