Position Overview

Machining-Engineering company is seeking a Machining Manager to lead all machining operations across a diverse and advanced precision manufacturing environment.

This role oversees approximately 35 team members across:

• 6 Conventional Lathes
• 13 Conventional Mills (up to 5-Axis)
• 11 High-Speed Micro Mills
• 19 CNC Swiss Lathes
• Manual Machining Department

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a 35-person machining team
• Oversee daily production, scheduling, and performance across all machining departments
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and machine utilization
• Provide technical leadership in CNC (5-axis and/or Swiss preferred), micro-milling, and tight-tolerance machining
• Ensure quality standards for medical, aerospace, and high-precision industries

Qualifications

• Strong machining background in a precision environment
• Leadership experience managing teams
• Solid understanding of GD&T and complex print interpretation
• Experience with 5-axis and/or Swiss machining preferred
• Process-driven mindset with strong communication skills
