We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team on 1st or 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes — particularly Mazak equipment — and will play a key role in overseeing production operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

•     Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision machined components

•     Oversee and coordinate all production activities to meet schedules and output targets

•     Mentor and assist fellow machinists with CNC programming and machine operation

•     Ensure all parts meet established quality standards through in-process and final inspection

•     Perform tolerance analysis and review engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications

•     Conduct part post-processing operations as required per job travelers and work orders

•     Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency

•     Document production data, nonconformances, and shift reports accurately

•     Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate findings to supervision

Required

•     3+ years of experience in CNC machining, specifically CNC lathe operation

•     Demonstrated proficiency programming and operating Mazak CNC lathes

•     Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

•     Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

•     Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment

•     Proven ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment

Preferred

•     Experience in a supervisory or lead machinist capacity

•     Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality management systems

•     Knowledge of part post-processing methods (deburring, finishing, etc.)

•     Associate's degree or vocational certification in Machining Technology or related field
