Summary

Responsible for programming and leading setup activities on multi-axis CNC Swiss lathes to produce high-precision components. Applies advanced knowledge of machining theory, tooling, materials, and blueprint interpretation to drive quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and lead setups on multi-axis Swiss turning centers

• Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings

• Optimize tooling and cutting paths for performance and quality

• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

• Oversee quality checks to ensure specifications are met

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Train and mentor operators and machinists

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Swiss CNC programming experience

• Strong blueprint reading and advanced math skills

• Deep knowledge of metals and machining processes

• Proven troubleshooting and leadership ability

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

• Overtime/weekend availability as needed
